ESB 4.165 6.5"/165 mm Mid-Woofer

The ESB 4.165 is the 4000 Series 6.5" (165 mm) mid-woofer, with a long-fiber, unbleached pulp cone, a Y35 ferrite magnet and a die-cast aluminum alloy basket. With the 4000 Series ("Technology meets Performance"), ESB set out to push the limits of performance for the price, and premium matte black steel grilles give it the look of far more expensive systems.

Highlights

• Long-fiber, unbleached pulp cone
• Y35 ferrite magnet, die-cast aluminum alloy basket
• 150 W nominal / 300 W transient, 92.5 dB sensitivity
• Response from 55 Hz to 6 kHz

Best for

• Replacing factory 6.5" door woofers
• A 2-way set with the 4.28 tweeter and 4.6K2 CX crossover, or 3-way with the 4.75/4.100 or 4.UMA and 4.6K3 CX
