Founded in 1994, Alumapro studied the marketplace and found a need that nobody was filling — a high-power loudspeaker that fully utilized the structural and thermal advantages of metal cones. While other brands simply swapped paper for aluminum and called it a day, Alumapro engineered something fundamentally different.

The result was the unitized cone/coil structure — an integrated design where the voice coil is fused directly to the aluminum cone through a thermally-conductive former. This creates a contiguous heat path that pulls damaging heat straight out of the voice coil and into the heat-sinking alloy cone. No other design on the market did this. The result was dramatically higher power capacity, lower distortion, and longer life.

The aluminum alloy cone itself is electrochemically strengthened with a hard sandwich of aluminum oxide ceramic, and shaped in a curvilinear profile that's inherently more rigid than conventional straight-sided cones. No flexing, no breakup, no compromise. Car audio enthusiasts didn't just buy Alumapro — they swore by it.
