We've improved the performance of the Z-AP series in both sound quality and power, positioning the Z-AT series at the top of the competition market, where nothing is left to chance. To achieve this, we've used different components (the best available) and different power ratings for the output transistors and power supply, with the option of using different operational amplifiers (OP), which, at this level of sound quality, are the only components that still make a difference in terms of sonic performance. We're talking about OP amps that can cost more than $50 each (one per channel), which today also exist as integrated with a quality comparable to discrete amplifiers. The choice of OP amp is also a matter of listening taste, so we make it possible to use different OPs, as the amplifiers are equipped with sockets for changing the OPs without the need for soldering. BIAS current regulated to 100 mA for each channel, and these amplifiers can work with both balanced and unbalanced inputs.
