Alumapro Alchemy MX 12 Free-Air 12-Inch Metal Cone Subwoofer
Alumapro Alchemy MX 12 Free-Air 12-Inch Metal Cone Subwoofer
Free-air / infinite-baffle power limit: 200 W RMS. In a vented or bandpass box, it's rated 300 W RMS / 600 W program.
The Alchemy MX 12 Free-Air is the MX built to play deep with no box at all. Alumapro's proprietary FEA-designed alloy cone and the same aero-vented cast frame as the standard MX, paired with its own free-air surround and suspension, reach down to a 26 Hz resonance, making it the right 12 for rear-deck, trunk-baffle, vented and bandpass installs.

The Alumapro difference
Alumapro has built aluminum-cone subwoofers in the USA since 1994. An aluminum alloy cone stays rigid under power where paper and poly cones flex, and it helps draw heat away from the voice coil, so bass stays tight and controlled when you turn it up. Every Alumapro sub is hand built in Huntley, Illinois.
